Spiritual Readings – Join us at 7:15 next Wednesday evening for our last in the series on prayers and poetry as ways to connect with our deeper self and our Creator. Before study group next Wednesday, May 16th, we’ll meet for dinner at 6:00 pm. It is potluck and fellowship. Join us if you can.
Monthly Service Project – Community Yard Sale to Benefit AFAC: Sat May 19, 9 a.m. to noon. Did spring cleaning reveal unwanted/duplicate stuff you were going to take to Goodwill? Save it & sign-up now to get a table at the Monthly Service Project YARD SALE — it’s another way to benefit AFAC (sign-up sheet on table in from of Pastor’s office.) Or if you don’t have stuff to sell, consider baking something for the BAKE SALE table. More details are available online. Thank you.
Strawberry Festival is June 2nd from 3 pm to 7 pm. Sign up on the bulletin board in the church lobby to help make this year’s event a great success.
Pre-Register for the Spring 2013 All Church Retreat April 26-27, 2013: At Mar-Lu-Ridge Retreat Center Jefferson, MD just 57 miles from Bethel. Cost $135 for two nights and 5 meals per adult; children ages 3-12- half price; under 3- free. All rooms have private bathrooms. We need a commitment from 25 adults by June 24th to secure the space.
