Stay At Home

Life is surely different now. We’ve stayed at home for a month and worshipped on-line with Zoom for a month. We are learning to reach out to each other in new ways – digitally – and at a distance with neighbors. Most are cooking more from home than before. Many are trying to support the local restaurants and small businesses that are still open. Bethel UCC is a small business but so much more. We have put a priority on connection. Therefore, Pastor Anne hosts Tuesday and Thursday coffee and conversation hours in addition to worship. These casual meetings help us reach out especially to those who are home alone.

I have found learning to shop in advance and plan meals better has been as big a challenge as exercising outside usually with a mask. Everything is challenging and new even as we do very ‘ordinary’ things. We invite you to share during the coffee and conversation times or when we solicit prayer requests. We also encourage you to reach out to each other. Who might need a call or text from you today?

May you continue to bless others in the tradition of Bethel’s welcome to ALL.

Pastor Nancy
